THANK YOU to Pat and Jeanette Thein for leading our Lenten Discussion Groups. Please join us in the parish center on Sunday afternoons during Lent at 4:00. All are welcome!

Numbers served at the fish fry:

4:00-4:30 73 dinners + 9 buckets

4:30-5:00 68 dinners + 9 buckets

5:00-5:30 130 dinners + 15 buckets

5:30-6:00 112 dinners + 13 buckets

6:00-6:30 92 dinners + 12 buckets

6:30-7:00 47 dinners + 10 buckets

7:00-7:30 28 dinners + 2 buckets

TOTALS 550 dinners + 70 buckets!

Thank you to all that helped with the fish fry! Thank you to everyone for the dinner orders, donations, and the fabulous support! Mike Schmitz won the 50-50 raffle and donated the money back to St. Patrick's, so thank you Mike for your generosity. We look forward to doing this again next year!

Parish Council

If you are interested in running for the Parish Council or Faith Formation Committee, please let Sandy, John, or Deanne know. We will have parish elections in May. This is a great way to "BE CHURCH" and be a voice for the parish.

Faith Formation

Thank you to all that supported our lasagna fundraiser! We had 75 orders and were happy to have received orders from all across our pastorate and community.

Our profit was $1204.

The students had fun making them. There's always something for everyone to do whether it is spraying the pans, stirring the sauce, layering the noodles, or topping them with cheese. This is a great way for the students to help and be part of their parish.

We made baptismal blankets together again this year. This year, we made 8 blankets and they are embroidered and ready to give to our newest members. This was another fun project that students enjoy doing together.

Confirmation will be held this Wednesday (3/3) in Edgewood. God Bless Ava Steger and Jacob Schilling as they will be receiving this Sacrament.

Social Concerns

We are taking donations for the food bank during lent. There is a tub in the parish center, so please be generous during this time of giving. This can be a great way to LEND A HAND.

World Day of Prayer 2021, Friday, March 5th. World Day of Prayer takes place on the first Friday of March every year. The First Congregational Church is hosting the World Day of Prayer community event this year, but with COVID-19 they are canceling the in-person program. Instead, they are asking each individual church to take up a collection during the weekend of March 5th. We will have a basket in the back of the parish center. Please donate what you can to help the people of Vanuatu. Where is Vanuatu? Vanuatu is a double chain of 13 principal and many smaller islands in the south-western Pacific Ocean. The islands are volcanic and coral in origin. They lie about 800 km west of Fiji & 1800 km east of Australia.

We have a random act of kindness board at St. Patrick in the parish center. Please feel free to add to the board. Check it out to see what others have done. We are doing great things in our community!
