St. Patrick Announcements

We are looking for volunteers to help serve for the fish fry.

If you are able to help, please let Pat or Jeanette know. There are 2 shifts: 4:00-6:00 and 6:00-8:00. Students, we'd love to see you there. The community always comments on how much they enjoy seeing our young people helping.

Anointing of the Sick at St. Patrick will be Sunday, March 6th. Please sit near an aisle if possible if you wish to be anointed.

Quarter Beef Raffle

Tickets $5 each

Beef goes to the Edgewood Locker the end of April.

Winner pays processing--Locker is giving 20% discount to the winner.

THANK YOU Les and Carol Simons for donating the 1/4 beef! Winner will be drawn at the parish breakfast on Sunday, March 20th. Tickets can be purchased in the parish office, at the fish fry, or from a Parish Life member.

St. Patrick Parish Breakfast will be held Sunday, March 20th after 8:00 am Mass. Free will donations accepted. The beef raffle will be held at that time.

PLEASE return your beef raffle tickets and Parish Life donations asap.

Liturgical Ministry

Liturgical ministry training

New trainings scheduled for Thursdays during Lent at 6:30pm:

March 10 – St. Mark

March 17 – Sacred Heart

March 24 – St. Patrick

March 31 – St. Joseph

April 7 – St. Mary

All ministers, including Word & Communion and homebound ministers, are asked to attend one of the trainings listed above.

Word/Communion leaders and sacristans will have additional training separately.

Musicians: please continue Communion music until the vessels have been purified and the priest (and deacon if applicable) is/are seated.

Altar servers will be trained during Wednesday night Faith Formation.

MARCH MASS ATTENDANCE

The Archdiocese is again asking us to tally Mass attendance numbers for the month of March to assist in pastoral planning. They will be compared to last September’s numbers and also those from October 2016. Please remember that going to other parishes in the area (while it might be more convenient or shorter or whatever) does not help our Pastorate parishes. Your tithing supports the staff, outreach and ministries of our Pastorate. Please remember your parish’s future as you make your worship decisions.
