MASS CHANGES IN THE SHADOW OF COVID-19
Pandemic guidelines are being loosened by the Congregation for Divine Worship in the Vatican, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and our Archdiocese of Dubuque. Here is what this means:
* Holy Water will be restored to fonts
* Holy Communion may again be received on the tongue or in the hand
* Communicants will again have the option of receiving Precious Blood from the cup if they choose
* As always, those who are sick should stay home, or not receive Holy Communion on the tongue or from the cup.
* Anyone with compromised immune systems or with other concerns are still welcome to wear masks with no judgement
