Don and Rachel Budden's 61st Anniversary blessing was April 3rd. Congratulations! We wish you many more years together.

We were blessed at St. Patrick to have celebrated Easter Mass together. Thank you to Monsignor Russell Bleich and Deacon Paul for celebrating with us this year!

Service night

We had a great showing for our service night on April 13th. THANK YOU to all for coming and helping clean the church and grounds that night--it is truly appreciated.

Parish Election

Parish Council Election will be held May 15.

We have 2 open council positions to fill, so you will be able to vote for 2 candidates. THANK YOU to Carol Steger for her past years sitting as our secretary on the council. Carol's council term is up, but we are thankful that she will still be present at our council meetings, as she now serves as our Liturgy chair. We want to also thank Rosalee Bockenstedt for her past years of serving as our Liturgy chair. We are blessed at St. Patrick for having people willing to serve our parish!

We will be voting for 2 of the following candidates on May 15th. THANK YOU to the 3 candidates we have that have volunteered to be on our parish ballot.

Jeff Bonert

Jeff Bonert lives with his wife Megan and two children, Mason (10) and Natalie (7) on their farm right outside of Colesburg. Jeff has been a part of the Parish for the last 10 years and would like to be a part of the parish council so that he can be more actively involved in helping our church to thrive.

Sandy Klaus

I have been a member of St. Patrick for over 40 years, joining soon after my husband, Tom, and I were married. We have two grown sons and 5 grandchildren. I was a teacher in the Catholic School System and also at Ed-Co. Most of my professional career was spent as an elementary principal.

I would be excited to serve on the Pastoral Council at St. Patrick. It’s important to give back to our parish. I think it would be fun to work with existing members and our parish at large to make a positive difference in our church, our community, and beyond. There are so many needs out there, and I think we can really help.

Luke McCabe

Luke McCabe and his family reside in Colesburg. They have been members of St. Patrick's for over 10 years. Luke is a body tech at Avalon Body Shop. When he is not working he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

THANK YOU to all of the students that came to the retreat on April 15th. We had many activities going on that day. We remembered that Jesus died for us, and we had Living Stations of the Cross, made cross bracelets, painted flower pots, etc. THANK YOU to all of the teachers for sharing your time and talent with our young people!

Our 2nd graders are working hard to receive the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time coming up very soon on May 1. Shown to the right are (left to right) Kenzie, Rhett, Matilda, Reece, and Mckinley. They are a fantastic group and we want to thank Megan Bonert for preparing our 2nd graders for this special Sacrament.

Please join us after Mass on May 1st to celebrate their First Communion together in the parish center with cake/refreshments.

Last Wednesday night class

We wrapped up our year this week with a hotdog meal together and games. Thank you to the parents that were able to join us! We are looking ahead to summer school as well. Please save the dates: June 6, 7. More details to come.
