Help the Emmaus Pastorate staff a food stand on October 8-9 at Osborne County Park. Each Parish Life Committee is contributing in various ways. Watch out for signups and/or contact Ann Gibney for all details!
Adult Faith Formation
We are pleased to announce that Ruth Hamilton of St. Mark Parish completed training to become a Grief Share Leader. She joins Dianne Fette, Kandi DeShaw and Fran Zichal to provide leadership for the Grief Share classes. You'll see her around at various classes, especially at St. Mark. Welcome, Ruth!
The Grief Share classes will be held on 13 Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm beginning September 6. Classes will be held at St. Joseph Parish Center with Parish Life providing the snacks. Contact Fran Zichal or the Parish Center soon to register.
Did you see the 40-poster exhibit on Eucharistic miracles at St. Mark? It'll be on display thru September 19!
St. Joseph is offering a six-session Scripture Study on the gospel of Matthew starting September 8. Classes are held on Thursdays at 6:30 with one class on Monday, September 19. Classes will rotate among each parish. To register, call the St. Joseph Parish Center at 563-245-2458.
The Adult Faith Formation Committee will begin planning Fall activities. They will organize several Theology on Taps. Watch the bulletin for details. Committee members include Diane Mayer, Jerry and Tara Ketoff, Deanne Wulfekuhle, Jolene Christeleit, and Fran Zichal. Contact any committee member if you have a suggestion for a class or discussion group.
AED Update
Andrew Clark is the new chair of the St. Joseph AED committee. He is organizing a review for all St. Joseph certified AED parishioners. Reviews of the procedures will take place twice each year. Thank you, Andrew!!
Time to Party!!
St. Patrick Parish has paid off their new Parish Center! All are invited to a special Mass at 11:30am on Sunday, October 2 followed by a hog roast with baked beans and cheesy potatoes. Help us celebrate!
