Mark your Calendar for April 5th, 7:15 p.m. Our Junior and Senior Faith Formation Students will illustrate and narrate the story of Jesus Christ's final hours using silhouettes, shadows and light. ST. MARK PARISH LIFE:

The Parish Life Committee is looking for a few good leaders! The revamped parish life committee has been working well, but we need a few new leaders of a couple of the parish life teams. Bible Study is back on Thursday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the parish center from 8:30-9:45 a.m.

Everyone is invited to join in reading and discussing the book, Jesus the Way, the Truth, and the Life. This book takes you through the life of Jesus. We continue to learn more about this man as we read, discuss, and watch videos of the places Jesus lived, taught, and died.

Books are available, and we would love to have you join us! Call Jane Christiansen (563-920-5967) with any questions.

On Sunday, March 26, our First Communion students presented a loaf of bread and a letter to the "Prayer Partners" during Mass. The Prayer Partners will pray for each of the "Terrific Tiny Ten" as they continue on their faith journey.

World Day of Prayer - was celebrated at St. Mark on March 3. This is an annual event that brings women together to pray and learn from women in different countries. The women of Taiwan put together this year’s theme, “I have heard about your faith,” based on a passage from the Book of Ephesians in the Bible. Only about 3% of Taiwanese are Christian. Many thanks to Mary Kay Johannes, Marge Gaul, Heidi de Gier, Brooke Kerns, Kay Schaffer, Judy Wulfekuhle, Jane Christiansen, and Marsha Hauser for working together to make this memorable event happen.

50th Wedding Anniversary

As blessings were being prayed over parish members with March birthdays and anniversaries, a special blessing was bestowed upon Larry and Marge Gaul in honor of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. May God continue to bless them in their marriage.
