St. Mark Parish Life...

The results are in! St. Mark's "Famous Rodeo" Fried Chicken Supper was a HUGE success having over 1,000 dinners served!! A BIG thank you goes out to the Kelchen family/committee responsible for organizing this great fundraiser and to everyone who helped in any way from preparing sweet corn and coleslaw, baking pies, setting up tables, working shifts in the Parish Center or kitchen, help with frying the chicken, transporting and delivering meals, and especially to everyone who came out, survived the heat, supported this fundraiser, while enjoying a fantastic meal and great fellowship! See you again next year!!

St. Mark Stewardship & Social Concerns

Grief Share Classes

involve a warm, caring group environment to help you on your path to healing. They will meet on Thursday afternoons, August 31-November 16 from 1:00-2:30 at our St. Mark Parish Center. Register at 563-928-7200. No charge, and you do not need to be Catholic to join.

12 newly established and painted handicapped parking spaces are available at St. Mark! Many thanks to Brian Atkinson, Mike Scherbring, and Mike and Amy Wilson!

NEW THIS YEAR:

Sept. 20 - Parents come to class with their students. (1st session only)

We welcome St. Patrick High School students to our program in Edgewood.

Confirmation - classes will meet each Wednesday at their normal time in the Parish Center and one class a month will be with Father John at St. Mary.

Ministries - We will be encouraging all ages of students to get involved with ministries at Mass: reading, hospitality, and Eucharistic Minister training for confirmed students.

We are looking forward to complimenting your at-home Faith Formation through our program on Wednesday nights at St. Mark!

Welcome to our Faith Family, Lena Rose Sperfslage, infant daughter of Jessica and Derek Sperfslage who was baptized at St. Mark on August 6, 2023. May God bless Lena Rose and her family all the days of their lives.
