CHRISTMAS BASKETS
Looking for something very worthwhile to do on December 2? Join us!
The elves will be busy on Saturday, December 2, at 10:00 a.m. in the parish center putting together Christmas Baskets to be delivered while spreading Christmas cheer to folks in our community. Many thanks to those of you who donated ice cream buckets, money, and food items to be included in our baskets and to those who will offer their time to put these baskets together and deliver them! We appreciate all of you!

Dec. 13th - pastorate reconciliation and first reconciliation for our second graders

Our faith family welcomed Daisy Elizabeth , daughter of Brittany (Mueller) and Joshua Lechtenberg, who received the Sacrament of Baptism at St. Mark.

We welcomed the newest member of our faith family at St. Mark, Rafe James, son of Payson and Miranda Kerns. Congratulations! May God bless Rafe and his family.

BIBLE PRESENTATION
Two of our ninth graders were presented with Bibles to use as they continue on their faith journey.

THANKSGIVING MASS -
STUDENTS SHARED THEIR
"ACTS OF GIVING" BY GRADE
12 - research & develop a permanent display about previous pastors of our parish, visit Clarity Clinic and deliver needed items
11 - make tie blankets for newly baptized babies
10 - host a fun day of games and a meal and work with the Dubuque Rescue Mission
9 - do a craft with the Convalescent Home residents
8 & 7 - prepare and serve breakfast for the whole church in the spring
6 - make thank you cookies for the catechists and staff
5 - clean the St. Mark and city cemeteries in the spring
4 - play Bingo with residents at the Convalescent home and make dog/cat treats to donate to an animal shelter
3 - collect food and winter gear to donate to the St. Mary food pantry
2 - make and donate "birthday bundles" to the food pantry
1 - make cookies and hot cocoa for our teachers and students sometime this winter
