ST. MARK GALA INFORMATION

Get ready to rewind the clock! Dust off those neon leg warmers, tease that hair to the high heavens, and join us for a totally tubular trip back to the ‘80s. Tickets to the 2024 Saint Mark Gala are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased before and after the 10 AM mass every weekend in February. Tickets are also available before and after the 8 AM mass in Colesburg and at select masses in the pastorate throughout February.

Gala committee members and the Saint Mark office will also have tickets. Melissa Atkinson, Brian Atkinson, Mike Scherbring, Daryl Jaeger, Beth Steinfadt Jaeger, Jennifer Thein Lange, Sharon Besler, Marilyn Sullivan, Karon DeMar, Amy Kelchen.

ST. MARK PARISH LIFE

Bible Study is Back!

Please consider joining us on Thursday mornings, starting March 7, at 8:30 am in the St. Mark Parish Center for an hour of reading, discussion, and study of the second half of John's Gospel. There is no cost, no commitment needed, just an invitation to read and listen to Chapters 11-21 in the Gospel of John. This material will correspond nicely to our current Lenten Season and carry us through April. If you have any questions, please contact Jane

Old Palm Collection

Do you have old palm branches from past years? There is a box in the back of the church where you can place your old palms. These will be used to make ashes which will be used during our Ash Wednesday services in the future.

Exciting days ahead for these ten, second graders who are preparing their hearts to receive their First Eucharist. Please keep them in your prayers as they learn and grow in their faith.

Senior Faith Formation students visited the Sisters at the Mississippi Abbey and the Brothers at the new Melray Abbey recently. Experiences included joining a prayer service with the monks, hearing history information told by Father Brendan, admiring the beautiful Abbys, and, of course, enjoying the tasty caramels that are made there. Much admiration to the seniors for choosing to spend this faith-filled day together learning, and to Jody and Jim Kerns for making this experience possible.
