All are welcome to join St. Mark's Bible Study starting on Thursday, March 6, at 8:30 a.m. in the St. Mark parish center. We will be reading and studying the Gospel according to Luke. Come and join us for some afternoon fun playing bid Euchre on Tuesdays during the winter months. We ask for a $2 donation that gets divided up for the top four scorers and the "dime a set" is returned as door prizes. Let us pray for migrants, refugees, and those affected by war, that their right to an education, which is necessary to build a better world, might always be respected.

For vocations to the priesthood and religious life
Let us pray that the ecclesial community might welcome the desires and doubts of those young people who feel a call to serve Christ's mission in the priesthood and religious life.
March
For families in crisis
Let us pray that broken families might discover the cure for their wounds through forgiveness, rediscovering each other's gifts, even in their differences.

Candles were blessed during Mass on February 2. There are candles available for purchase for your home so please contact the office if you are wanting one for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, Holy Days, or holidays in your home.
Do you have an intention that you'd like to light a candle for in church? A birth, upcoming surgery, a birthday, to remember a loved one... really, any intention. There are MEMORIAL CANDLES available to be lit at St. Mark for your intentions. They are $5 each, available in the devotional area and last about one week.
GRIEF SHARE RETURNS:
Whether you are grieving the loss of loved one recently or in the past, this caring group is here to support you.
* Grief share will be starting up again on February 25.
*There is no charge and you do not need to be Catholic to join.

UPCOMING BAPTISM CLASS:
Do you have a child in need of baptism? The next class is going to be on Wednesday, March 19 at 6:00pm at St. Mary Education Center in Strawberry Point.
The final class for the academic year will be on May 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Parish Center in Elkader. All parents requesting baptism for their child are asked to attend a class prior to the baptism. Godparents are welcome to come too! To register, please call John Uhal at the St. Joseph Parish Center at 563-245-2548 or email him at j.uhal@dbqarch.org. Preregistration is preferred but not required.
